CD437(AHPN)是一种细胞渗透性的RAR激动剂,能够结合并激活RARα, RARβ和RARγ,其Kd分别为6.5 µM, 2.5 µM和77 nM [1,2]。CD437对急性骨髓性白血病细胞NB4有细胞毒性,能诱导DNA双链断裂而产生DNA损伤 [3]。CD437可以通过至少两种机制(RAR介导的鳞状分化抑制和RAR无关的凋亡诱导)诱导UMSCC22B人头颈鳞状癌细胞的凋亡[4]。CD437单独处理或与lexatumumab联合处理黑色素瘤细胞都具有很强的抗肿瘤作用 [5]。
